Current parents
We encourage parents to become involved in their child's school experience and we offer a variety of parent involvement opportunities. Parents are invited to attend the first parent meeting of the year, usually held in September or October. We introduce the staff and make sure that you are aware of our policies and procedures. This is also the opportunity to go into your child’s classroom and have the teacher explain the goals of the class.
Two parent/teacher conferences are held during the year. If you need to speak with the teacher about your child, please talk with your child’s teacher or the director about planning a good time to meet.
At the beginning of the academic year, parents are invited to participate in regular meetings of the Parent Advisory Committee. The Committee, and all parents who attend the meetings, advise the director on parent involvement and other Center issues.
Parenting Classes are an opportunity to learn more about parenting from other parents and early childhood education professionals.
Open door policy
Parents are always welcome in the classroom and encouraged to observe and participate in the children's program. No prior appointment, announcement, or call necessary to come and participate in our program. Children love to have their parents interact with them at the Center and we hope that you will consider becoming involved! Stop by the front office to sign in.
